Congratulations to those who graded Saturday evening in Airdrie.

Orange - Ramin Rezai (Red Deer)

The test was exactly 2 hours long with a very tough and physically demanding pace. All 5 of the Kru's of Lom Pa Yu Muay Thai were in attendance as well as several more of the advanced members to help out.
The candidates went through individual techniques from their specific requirements, bag work; demonstrating skills and combinations, 5-3 minute rounds of light clinch, 3-2 minute rounds of leg sparring, 2 rounds of boxing, 1 round of Modified Muay Thai. Then they demonstrated the pad combos and went on to do 3 rounds of padwork with the trainers and 5 rounds for the advanced belts. After the 14 and 16 various rounds, Ryan and Russell finished up with a demonstration of a Wai Kru.
Over all this was an impressive presentation of sparring and technique from all, especially considering all of the candidates and trainers were either competing or helping run the tournament earlier in that day.
