Western Provincial Open - Martial Arts tournament
Date: Saturday, March 20, 2010
Location: 4 Points by Sheraton -7230 Argyll Rd.
When "Western Provincial Open" tournament host Cody Diesbourg and family first moved to Edmonton in early 2003, he sought out a Karate school to train with that would be similar to his style from back home. He joined the Arashi-Do South Edmonton dojo, already a 17 year old 2nd degree black belt and a world champion in fighting, forms and weapons forms. He quickly became part of the Arashi-Do family and earned an Arashi-Do Black belt at the Black belt grading Nov.1, 2003. Sensei Cody moved on to start Premier Martial Arts in North East Edmonton. Since moving here from Ontario, Cody and the entire Diesbourg family have been great promoters and supporters of Martial Arts here in Edmonton and regional Alberta and we always look forward to supporting his tournament, the "Western Provincial Open".
